Cutaneous lymphoid hyperplasia: results of radiation therapy.

L E Olson, J F Wilson, J D Cox.

Abstract

Four cases of cutaneous lymphoid hyperplasia (CLH) were treated with radiation therapy. Sixteen separate areas of the skin were irradiated. Only two received more than 18 Gy (1,800 rad). Follow-up ranged from eight months to seven years. No infield recurrences were observed, and cosmetic results were excellent. The authors suggest that radiation therapy can be highly effective in the treatment of CLH.
