Sjögren's syndrome and Crohn's disease.

Sjögren's syndrome has been associated with many of the disorders in which autoimmunity is considered likely to play a major role in pathogenesis. To date, no such association has been reported with Crohn's disease. A case where this association has been observed is reported here. In the absence of other known primary causes of Sjögren's syndrome, the features of this case are suggestive of a direct relationship between these disorders.
