Abstract
Nasopharyngeal stenosis in children is a serious problem. Formerly a result of syphilis, it is now more commonly seen as an unusual complication of tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy or pharyngoplasty. The surgical correction of this problem continues to be a challenge. Seven cases required surgical repair because of the severity of symptoms. A new method of repair, using a laterally based pharyngeal flap, was used with good results in six cases.Entities:
