Abstract
Water entrainment into opened prostate venous sinuses during transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) may lead to dilution of serum electrolytes. Dilutional hypokalemia may precipitate digitalis toxicity in the digitalized patient. Successful resuscitation of such a patient is reported.Entities:
