Abstract
The case we have reported describes the management of fetal hydrocephalus using an intrauterine ventricular-amniotic shunt, which unfortunately was not recovered after delivery. To prevent this potential complication, we suggest such shunts be made radiopaque. The encouraging results in this case are attributed to the efforts of an interdisciplinary team and suggest that vascular accidents may well prove to be amenable to treatment by this new procedure.Entities:
