Abstract
Methionine synthase activity was measured in 11 placentae after Caesarean section during which nitrous oxide had been used as an anaesthetic agent, and compared with that from 20 placentae after normal vaginal delivery with no exposure to nitrous oxide. There was no significant difference in enzyme activity between the two series.Entities:
