Abstract
We report the cases of two children with acute plastic fractures of the long bones following trauma. Bowing deformity was evident clinically and radiographically in both cases. The unique radiologic features consisted of absence of fracture lines and of periosteal new bone formation during the healing phase. The mechanism of injury as well as possible complications in management of acute plastic bowing fractures are discussed.Entities:
