Abstract
Ritodrine hydrochloride, a beta-sympathomimetic treatment for premature labor, has been associated with the development of pulmonary edema, various metabolic derangements, myocardial ischemia, and infarction. We present the first reported case of absolute neutropenia after prolonged intravenous administration of ritodrine with rapid, spontaneous reversal once the medication was discontinued.Entities:
