Abstract
The frozen storage of mouse embryos is a practical means of assuring the preservation of scientifically valuable strains of mice for research. Banks are maintained at over 15 institutions throughout the world. At the Jackson Laboratory eight-cell embryos from approximately 500 strains are preserved in liquid nitrogen storage.Entities:
