Abstract

The primary structures of nine major saccharide alditols in the fraction of neutral carbohydrates derived from human seminal plasma mucin have been established on the basis of fast atom bombardment and electron impact mass spectrometry combined with methylation analysis, exoglycosidase digestion, and CrO3 oxidation, as follows.
