Abstract
Umbilical artery catheterization in the newborn can lead to perforation of the bladder or urachal remnant with extravasation of urine into the peritoneal cavity. We present a case of such an injury that led to uroascites and respiratory distress. This injury usually requires prompt surgical repair for resolution.Entities:
