Abstract
In Part 1 the principles of coherent averaging were discussed. In Part 2 expressions are developed for the effect on the average of fluctuations in the stimulus-response time. Overlapping responses may cause errors in the averaged response: these errors are analysed. It is shown that the application of non-periodic stimuli may improve the results for both periodic interference and overlapping responses.Mesh:
