Abstract
Trimalar fractures of the zygoma create a fracture dislocation of the lateral and inferior orbital walls. These are frequently associated with orbital and ophthalmic injury. A surgical approach to trimalar fracture repair should provide adequate exposure to the orbit and flexibility in dealing with associated orbital trauma. Surgical techniques for repair of trimalar fractures are reviewed. A new technique is presented that provides optimal orbital exposure and minimizes facial incisions.Entities:
