Gold dust retinopathy after the ingestion of canthaxanthine to produce skin-bronzing.

Abstract

On routine examination a 50-year-old white male Australian was found to have small golden particles in the macular regions of both eyes. He was found to have a history of canthaxanthine ingestion to produce skin-bronzing.
