Abstract
Interaction of elastase from Pseudomonas aeruginosa 700/75 with polymorphonuclear leukocytes and serum was tested. No difference in phagocytosis by elastase treated PMN and control PMN was noted. Bactericidal activity of serum against P. aeruginosa 700/75 was reduced when serum preincubated with elastase.Entities:
