A method to prepare bone-implant specimens for laboratory analysis.

Abstract

A method for the preparation of bone samples containing metallic implants is presented. Technics are detailed for samples to be analyzed by mechanical, microradiographical and microangiographical means, and by tetracycline labeled fluorescent and polarized light microscopy.
