Abstract
Nineteen patients with community- or hospital-acquired gram-negative pneumonia were treated with aztreonam. Other gram-negative antibiotics were withheld. Thirteen patients (68 percent) had clinical cures and 15 (79 percent) had microbiologic cures with aztreonam. No adverse reactions or drug toxicity occurred in this population.Entities:
