Abstract
The long-term effectiveness of cephradine and amoxycillin in the treatment of otitis media was evaluated in one hundred children ranging in age from 4 months to 14 years. The immediate clinical response was comparable in both treatment groups, but the recurrence rate during a 12-month follow-up period was considerably lower in the patients treated with cephradine. The incidence of side-effects was similar in the two groups.Entities:
