Cast glass ceramics.

D G Grossman.

Abstract

The application of cast glass ceramics to restorative dentistry represents a major advancement in applied dental science. In addition to restoring an individual's teeth with a material that is both esthetically pleasing and anatomically correct, the physical properties are designed to guarantee optimal performance characteristics. These qualities are examined from the point of view of the dentist, dental technician, and the patient.
