Abstract
Hyperparathyroidism in pregnancy is associated with significant morbidity for both mother and child. Surgical intervention allows improved outcomes for both. The case presented here illustrates the approach to the pregnant patient with hypercalcemia and the role of ultrasound in visualizing a parathyroid adenoma.Entities:
