Abstract
A 75-year-old woman developed an esophagopleural fistula after distal esophageal resection of a stricture in 1969. In 1981, she presented with postprandial coughing, malaise, and anorexia. A barium study of the upper intestinal tract showed a gastrobronchial fistula. Closure of the fistula rendered her asymptomatic. The literature of this subject is reviewed and discussed.Entities:
