Abstract
The augmentation of facial soft-tissue defects can pose a difficult problem for the surgeon. Bone tends to resorb, giving unpredictable results, and alloplastic materials are firm to the touch and can migrate in the tissues. The dermal-fat graft provides a soft, natural-appearing augmentation. In the case reported here a 2-year follow-up shows excellent results obtained with the use of a dermal-fat graft to augment a soft-tissue defect over the mandible.Entities:
