Abstract
One hundred and ninety-five female patients of child-bearing age were assessed for postoperative vomiting in a double-blind trial using domperidone, metoclopramide and placebo. Compared with placebo, both drugs were found to reduce vomiting in approximately half the patients who had undergone caesarean section. However, in the group of non-obstetric patients, no statistically significant difference as regards vomiting was shown.Entities:
