Abstract
The immunoprecipitates of many antigens are frequently contaminated by coprecipitation of unrelated substances. A method to overcome this type of contamination in the immunoprecipitation of albumin is described. The insoluble albumin-antibody complexes are solubilized by a brief treatment at high temperature in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate, and after dilution the mixture is submitted to a second immunoprecipitation.Entities:
