Abstract
Recent advances in neonatal intensive care have led to a much improved survival rate in very low birth weight infants (under 1,500 g). A group of such children was examined and found to have a low incidence of serious visual or general handicap, but severe retrolental fibroplasia (RLF) affects a significant number.Entities:
