Abstract
A case of metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma involving the mandibular periodontium of a 36-year-old female is presented. The diffuse gingival enlargement from premolar to premolar was quite unusual, and other conditions were considered in the clinical differential diagnosis. Histopathologic evaluation of the gingival lesion showed a poorly differentiated carcinoma which appeared morphologically similar to earlier metastatic lesions of the nasal fossa and brain.Entities:
