Influence of sexually transmitted diseases on sterility and ectopic pregnancy.

Abstract

Infective diseases are the most common cause of functional damage to the fallopian tubes with subsequent infertility, subfertility or ectopic pregnancy. In this paper the Author presents the results of a prospective long-term follow-up on the reproductive events in a group of patients with acute salpingitis after sexually transmitted diseases.
