Neuronal colonic dysplasia associated with short-segment Hirschsprung's disease. A possible cause of therapeutic failure.

Abstract

We describe two cases of short-segment Hirschsprung's disease associated with neuronal colonic dysplasia. The recurrence of postoperative symptoms of bowel obstruction may be due to the combined occurrence of these two disorders.
