Abstract
The main problem in acquired coxa vara is related to shortening of the femoral neck and upward displacement of the greater trochanter. Using the Wagner technique, the authors have performed an intertrochanteric osteotomy in five adolescents with transfer of the greater trochanter to lengthen the femoral neck. The technique is described. The early results are encouraging.Mesh:
