Abstract
Although intermittent intense solar exposure and genetic traits such as fair skin continue to be associated with the risk of developing cutaneous melanoma, these factors fail to account for much of the incidence. Suggestive evidence has increased speculation that viral agents, radiation, hormones, chemicals in the workplace, and dietary factors play some etiologic role.Entities:
