Abstract
Glossolaryngeal paresis followed a difficult delivery and forceps manipulation and was due to a single extracranial traumatic lesion. Although the laryngeal palsy was suspected, hypoglossal involvement was not initially apparent. Search for additional neurologic insult is warranted when a single birth injury is identified. The glossolaryngeal paresis disappeared by age 6 months.Entities:
