Abstract
A case of autoimmune hemolytic anemia and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (Evans' syndrome), associated with a microcystic adenoma of the pancreas is reported. Early recognition of this rare entity is important, as corticosteroids and splenectomy are usually ineffective, whereas removal of the tumor may be a cure for this condition. Possible mechanisms of the hemolytic anemia and thrombocytopenia are also discussed.Entities:
