Abstract
Prednisone therapy induced prompt clinical remission in a 38-year-old woman with hypereosinophilic vasculitis. Smoldering vasculitis accounts for the 38% fatality rate in treated patients with the Churg-Strauss syndrome. Complete suppression of the peripheral hypereosinophilia will reflect the efficacy of therapy more accurately than clinical response.Entities:
