Abstract
A case report of ectopic pituitary gland in the suprasellar region of a normal 39-year-old woman with persistent headaches is presented. The embryological development of the pituitary gland is briefly reviewed, with a discussion of the relevant literature. No previous report of normal pituitary tissue in a suprasellar location in the absence of tumor could be found.Entities:
