Abstract
Ovarian activity was studied by laparotomy of 9 adult nulliparous goats in which oestrus was synchronized. Ovulation occurred in animals operated on 20-48 h from the onset of sexual receptivity. There was a mean ovulation rate of 1.57 ova per doe and the right and left ovaries had similar follicular activity in relation to sizes of follicles and ovulations.Entities:
