Abstract
The experiments on rats have shown that preliminary oral administration of vitamin E significantly suppressed generalization, but not development of adjuvant-induced arthritis. Oral vitamin E administration beginning one day after the onset of arthritis inhibited the development and generalization of the disease. Vitamin E had no effect on serum lysosomal enzyme activity, but markedly depressed lipid peroxidation.Entities:
