Abstract
The endobronchial anatomy of 10 inflated, air-dried, canine lungs and 8 healthy anesthetized, sternally recumbent, mixed-breed dogs was evaluated, using a flexible fiberoptic bronchoscope. On the basis of the order of branching of lobar and segmental bronchi observed in these lungs, a nomenclature system was devised to systematically identify individual lobar, segmental, and subsegmental bronchi during bronchoscopy in the dog.Entities:
