Abstract
Sustained tachycardia may be associated with dilated cardiomyopathy that may improve after medical management of the tachycardia. Ventricular tachycardia due to an ectopic focus is uncommon in children and rarely presents as congestive heart failure. This report documents that severe dilated cardiomyopathy in a child was caused by sustained ventricular tachycardia and that, after cryoablation of the tachycardia focus, ventricular function rapidly returned to normal.Entities:
