Abstract
We report the case of a 74-year-old woman who was admitted to hospital with progressive dysphagia. Further examinations revealed a tumor in the esophagus in which the macroscopic aspect and the histological work-up showed a primary malignant melanoma. The histogenesis of primary malignant melanoma in the esophagus is discussed, and a short review of the literature presented.Entities:
