Abstract
In a survey of members of the Western Section of the American Urological Association who had testicular prostheses inserted within the preceding ten years, the responses indicated that the overall complication rate for this procedure is low. Generally, the scrotal cavity distends easily to a size adequate to accommodate the prosthesis. However, in cases of delayed secondary scrotal surgery, or when a previous inflammatory process has existed in the scrotum, the limited scrotal distensibility may lead to further complications.Mesh:
