CT demonstration of gas in dilated pancreatic duct.

Abstract

A case of "innocent" pancreatic gas is reported. The patient had cystic dilatation of the main pancreatic duct limited to the head. Air entered through the patulous ampulla of Vater. Pancreatic gas can be present without abscess or fistula.
