Abstract
Diffuse lipomatosis, a classic example of an infiltrating fatty tumor, is a rare entity characterized by infiltration of adult-type adipose tissue into skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscle. It usually involves a large portion of an extremity or the trunk. Some cases are associated with distant lipomas or angiomas, or hypertrophy of subjacent bone. The association of diffuse lipomatosis with tuberous sclerosis is reported.Entities:
