Abstract
Two patients with hepatic fascioliasis are presented. Computed tomography demonstrated multiple low density areas located in the center and periphery of the liver. In one patient a spontaneous decrease in the size of the low-density areas occurred but the abdominal symptoms were persistent before bithionol treatment. After the treatment both patients became asymptomatic. The computed tomography scan can be a useful tool for the diagnosis and follow-up of the patients with hepatic fascioliasis.Entities:
