[Possibilities of high resolution computer tomography in the diagnosis of injuries of the facial skull].

The indications for high resolution CT scanning after facial trauma are discussed. There has been progress in the differential diagnosis of post-traumatic amaurosis. Further hints not obtainable in every single case by plain X-ray studies are provided by CT in the management of facial trauma.
