Abstract
BN 52021 antagonized PAF-acether-induced bronchoconstriction (BC) in the guinea-pig and inhibited BC triggered by antigen in passively sensitized animals. The anti-anaphylactic activity was prevented by propranolol and may either result from an additional property of the drug, independent from PAF antagonism or from different PAF-dependent mechanisms with different responsiveness to the various antagonists.Entities:
