Abstract
We describe a case in which Chlamydia trachomatis was the etiologic agent of postgonococcal conjunctivitis in an adolescent female. This case report demonstrates the need for considering C. trachomatis as the cause of persistent or recurrent conjunctivitis in a sexually active patient. Clinicians should be aware of the possibility of concurrent infections with Neisseria gonorrhoeae and C. trachomatis and should treat the patient accordingly.Entities:
