Abstract
We define piezosurgery as the sequential use of the scalpel and physical pressure for the selective removal of well-defined encapsulated lesions. Piezosurgical techniques for the complete removal of inclusion cysts, lipomas, and hidrocystomas are presented in a series of illustrations. Emphasis is placed on the need for subepidermal anesthesia, a small incision of appropriate depth, and steady sublesional pressure. The results are cosmetically acceptable.Entities:
