Abstract
According to a recent study the rates of death from lung cancer for white men in the United States began to level off in the late 1970s and decreased between 1982 and 1983. The author reviewed data on death from lung cancer among Canadian men and found that there was an increase of 34% in the adjusted rates between 1971 and 1984. While there was some decrease in the rate of increase among men under the age of 55 years, the rates for men aged 55 or older continued to increase.Entities:
