Abstract
A wheat diet containing deoxynivalenol (vomitoxin) at 15.6 mg/kg was fed to crossbred lambs for 28 days. Feed consumption, weight gain, and feed efficiency of deoxynivalenol-treated lambs did not differ (P less than 0.05) from those values of controls. Group differences were not noted for hematologic or serum biochemical variables, and gross or microscopic lesions were not observed in treated lambs.Entities:
