Abstract
Eight hundred and sixty-seven strains of gram-negative rods obtained from fecal specimens of 90 wild European birds were isolated on selective media. Eighteen of these were identified as Serratia fonticola both biochemically and by DNA hybridization. The biochemical characteristics of the new strains are compared with published results.Entities:
